DynAlert Software actively monitors the Nortel PBX for ESDN “Emergency Service Directory Number
- Once a 9-1-1 phone call is placed, Nortel releases ESDN call information.
- This information includes the DN number with an associated name describing who or where the call was placed.
- If combined with StradaTel Premium call accounting you will have 10 additional fields of information that can be customized and assigned to the DN.
Once DynAlert receives ESDN data from the Nortel PBX it interprets and redefines the information to send out to one or multiple users. Notification options include E-mail, page, text message and screen popup. Further to this all notification messages can be customized by the DynAlert administrator to show
specific information about the caller and location.
DynAlert can monitor single or multiple sites, all in real time. Remote sites (offsite PBX’s) connect back to the PC or server running DynAlert. Real time connections must be established through TCP/IP. Event notifications for remote sites can be sent to users associated with the specific site or globally through a
customizable distribution list. Multi-site DynAlert distinguishes 9-1-1 calls by PBX location and the ESDN information obtained.
